class: CellRendererCombo

[21:7] extends: object

Renders a combobox in a cell GtkCellRendererCombo renders text in a cell like GtkCellRendererText from which it is derived. But while GtkCellRendererText offers a simple entry to edit the text, GtkCellRendererCombo offers a GtkComboBox widget to edit the text. The values to display in the combo box are taken from the tree model specified in the GtkCellRendererCombo:model property. The combo cell renderer takes care of adding a text cell renderer to the combo box and sets it to display the column specified by its GtkCellRendererCombo:text-column property. Further properties of the combo box can be set in a handler for the GtkCellRenderer::editing-started signal.

Members

  • handleObj
  • lib
  • retainedCallbacks
  • signalHandlerNames
  • signalSetterHandlers

Methods

  • CellRendererCombo ()

Creates a new GtkCellRendererCombo. Adjust how text is drawn using object properties. Object properties can be set globally (with g_object_set()). Also, with GtkTreeViewColumn, you can bind a property to a value in a GtkTreeModel. For example, you can bind the “text” property on the cell renderer to a string value in the model, thus rendering a different string in each row of the GtkTreeView.

  • toNativeHandle (Source)

Normalizes a constructor argument into a raw pointer carrier. Accepts a raw NativeHandle, a raw NativeBuffer returned from fn.call(...), another generated wrapper exposing handle(), or null. Returns null when the argument carries no pointer.

    • @p Source is the raw handle, raw buffer, wrapper, or null.
    • @r A raw pointer carrier or null when no pointer is present.
  • getLib ()

Returns the opened native library for this generated wrapper.

    • @r The opened native library.
  • handle ()

    Returns the wrapped NativeHandle.

    • @r The wrapped NativeHandle.
  • isNull ()

Returns true when the wrapped handle is null.

    • @r A bool.
  • describe ()

Returns a small string for debugging generated wrappers.

    • @r A string.
  • asCellRendererText ()

    Wraps this handle as CellRendererText.

    • @r A CellRendererText object.
  • connectSignal (string Name, CallbackObj)

Connects one generated callback wrapper to a named signal.

    • @p Name is the signal name.
    • @p CallbackObj is the generated callback wrapper to connect.
    • @r The connected handler id.
  • disconnectSignalHandler (int HandlerId)

Disconnects one retained signal handler id.

    • @p HandlerId is the signal handler id to disconnect.
    • @r None.
  • setOnChanged (callback Fn, UserData = null)

This signal is emitted each time after the user selected an item in the combo box, either by using the mouse or the arrow keys. Contrary to GtkComboBox, GtkCellRendererCombo::changed is not emitted for changes made to a selected item in the entry. The argument @new_iter corresponds to the newly selected item in the combo box and it is relative to the GtkTreeModel set via the model property on GtkCellRendererCombo. Note that as soon as you change the model displayed in the tree view, the tree view will immediately cease the editing operating. This means that you most probably want to refrain from changing the model until the combo cell renderer emits the edited or editing_canceled signal.

    • @p Fn is the Aussom callback.
    • @p Fn is called with (CellRendererCombo Self, string Path_string, object New_iter).
    • @p UserData is retained and passed through to the generated callback wrapper when provided.
    • @r The connected handler id.
  • getProperty (string Name)

Reads one generated property by name.

  • setProperty (string Name, Value)

Writes one generated property by name.

  • setHasentry (bool Value)

If %TRUE, the cell renderer will include an entry and allow to enter values other than the ones in the popup list.

    • @p Value is the new property value.
    • @r None.
  • setModel (object Value)

Holds a tree model containing the possible values for the combo box. Use the text_column property to specify the column holding the values.

    • @p Value is the new property value.
    • @r None.
  • setTextcolumn (int Value)

Specifies the model column which holds the possible values for the combo box. Note that this refers to the model specified in the model property, not the model backing the tree view to which this cell renderer is attached. GtkCellRendererCombo automatically adds a text cell renderer for this column to its combo box.

    • @p Value is the new property value.
    • @r None.

class: CellRendererComboChangedCallback

[232:7] extends: object

Generated low-level callback wrapper for GIR callback changed.

Members

  • callbackObj
  • userFn
  • userData
  • hasUserData

Methods

  • CellRendererComboChangedCallback (callback Fn, UserData = null)

Creates one native callback wrapper. The wrapper owns a trampoline that converts native pointers into generated wrapper objects before invoking Fn.

    • @p Fn is the Aussom callback implementation.
    • @p UserData is retained and passed through to Fn on each invocation when provided.
  • trampoline (nativeSelf, path_string, new_iter, nativeUserData)

Internal trampoline. Converts native pointer arguments into generated wrapper instances, then invokes the user's callback.

  • callback ()

    Returns the wrapped NativeCallback.

  • handle ()

Returns the callback as a NativeHandle.

  • close ()

    Closes the underlying NativeCallback.

  • isClosed ()

Returns true when the callback has been closed.

class: CellRendererComboMeta

[302:14] static extends: object

Generated metadata helpers for CellRendererCombo class surfaces.

Methods

  • properties ()

    Returns property metadata for CellRendererCombo.

    • @r A list.
  • signals ()

    Returns signal metadata for CellRendererCombo.

    • @r A list.
